I've been using some 3.x extends_vanilla themes with 5.x with no problem until recently when an new version of 5.x woke up a feature which checks for updates in plug-ins and themes and so a warning about the themes was displayed.
I've fixed this by editing the 3.x themes config.xml file to add:
Code:
<updaters disabled="disabled"></updaters>
Are there any other tweaks to config.xml I should make to ensure my themes are 5.x compatible? The config.xml files in our themes contain no custom edits by us.
Maybe we need to construct a "API warning for plugin and theme" page in manual …
Thanks for the information …
