For a new survey I'm making I want the users to leave comments next to an array. To accomplish this I used an existing survey structure from another user on this forum ( forums.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-thi...ment-fields?start=15 , see attached file 681749). It works great, the only issue I have is that part of the source code is visible in the question. See screenshot attached. Sadly this makes the automated emails I'd like to send completely unreadable. Does anyone know what causes this, or what a workaround could be? I have searched the forum quite a bit but couldn't find other similar issues. My version is 3.23.1+200825.
Thanks in advance.

Looks like the screenshot is not coming through, I'll delete this and post again.

Please, do not copy and paste images, but attach them.

That it is shown here is quite normal.

I thought it is shown to the participant.

Thank you for your quick reply. Is there maybe a possibility to not show the questions in the emails then? Because it makes the emails impossible to read.

I think only if you create your own email template and add responses via Expression Manager.

Limesurvey is stupid and will show everything that is within the question text, I don't see how this could be avoided otherwise.

So you would basically put the question names per hand and then add the response via expression manager.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
Note: I answer at this forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.

And you may use the plugin "pdfReport" to create your own - better looking - report.

Thanks a lot to the both of you! The option to put in answers with the expression manager was exactly what I was looking for!
