During my first invitation round, about a third of respondents ticked the OptOut URL. Some did so after the 2nd and 3rd reminders. When I view the participant table, they no longer have OK status, but OptOut. I ran another bulk reminder email today. Lo and behold, reminders were sent to respondents that previously opted out, and I am now getting angry replies.

I see the system has allocated me as using 1.87. That is totally incorrect. I'm using Version 2.56.1+161118.
Do I change the version on my profile, or where does the 'chat' system find this version info?
I am following up with the systems administrator on updating the version.
Due to a low response rate, I sent multiple reminders. Some OptedOut from the invitation and some from the 1st and 2nd reminders. From the screenshot, it almost looks like LimeSurvey are ignoring the OptOut from the 3rd and subsequent automated reminders.
On Google I saw that as recently as 2021 someone also asked this questions (whether OptOut is handled properly by LimeSurvey)? Are you sure a version update will fix this?
