I have an error: limesurvey not all sub questions were recorded. this
usually happens due to server limitations (php settings
max_input_vars).
I changed in php ini this variable max_input_vars =
1000 but still the same problem.
Is there any other way?

That is completely independent from LimeSurvey. Depending on your webserver php setup, you might have different php.ini files and more options to raise max_input_vars (e.g. via htaccess).
First thing you can do is check what the actual limit is. The phpinfo can be accessed via the LimeSurvey GUI. That way you can verify if you really have raised the value.

Try raising max_input_vars more.

1000 is the default, with subquestion : you ave (minimal) 5 input by subquetsions.
