How to improve column spacing? was created by pnickel
I find that the default column spacing in LimeSurvey puts the columns so far apart that many users may miss some options.  I want narrower columns.  Sure, I can increase the number of columns shown, but often that causes no change in spacing!   (I am using newest version of LimeSurvey.)

The attached jpg is a good example.  There are 6 options.  The spacing shown is identical whether the number of columns is set to 6, 7, or maybe even 8.  The next highest setting (either 8 or 9) results in the kind of spacing I want, but "6 or more" ends up being"
   O    6
         o
         r
         m
         o
         r
         e

Is there any way to make the columns closer so that readability can be improved, without the option text being screwed up and looking unprofessional?

As LimeSurvey is based on bootstrap, anything above 6 will end in a grid of 12 columns.
Not surprising that your answer option is a bit small.

Read here about this:
