Opt Out URL message editing was created by anandkasturi
How can I edit the message text when a respondent chooses the OptOut option?

I use the {OPTOUTURL} functionality to allow respondents to opt out of receiving further reminders.
But I find that when they click that button, the messaging is a little inexact - it says something like "You have been removed from the survey" ... and yet, they can go ahead and use their token to submit a response. They have not been removed from the survey :-) which is what I want (i.e. they don't get any more reminders, but they can still respond).

So how can I edit the message on that URL?

Thanks in advance!

Are you talking about this message:

translate.limesurvey.org/projects/limesu...y&sort%5Bhow%5D=desc

You will most probably adapt it in your language by adapting the language file.

Here you can find information on how to translate Limesurvey:
www.limesurvey.org/manual/Translating_LimeSurvey

However, please be aware, if you change this in your language file, with the next update your adaptation could be overwritten.

Thanks much Holch!

Just to clarify - that is not the message I refer to.

screenshots of the messages are attached - hope it is clear.

This are the webpages/ messages when a respondent clicks on the {OPTOUTURL} link in the invite or reminder email.

Thanks in advance - hope you have a solution to suggest :-)

Cheers

But in TWIG you can just "hard code" it, right?

Do the actual message still come from the language files or where do they come from?

Then you still need to change the text in the language file, not in the template/theme.

A big majority of my client use only one language.
Or 2or 3 language (Switzerland)
Real usage of multilingual are rare.
