I wanted to display images as answer options. Unfortunately, it does not work. Edit: version: LimeSurvey Community Edition
Version 3.27.3+210615

Here is what I did:

* created a new question with the Radio Button answer type, subtype image_select
* uploaded the pictures to the server
* selected each picture via the editor as an answer option

The result is either getting a broken image icon or nothing (depending on the Browser). I tried changing the pre-set text to just the path, as recommended here but it also did not work.

Here is what I wrote (following the other thread, pre-set (<img alt="image here" src="/lsurvey3/upload/surveys/545941/images/arab1.png" style="width: 200px;" / did not work either):

There are also random messages that I am lacking the right to access the server, but from the permission side, we tested it and gave me Admin rights and there were still some denials of access.

 

This is however, random - it always works for the first answer option, the others have a 25-50% chance of me being able to access the server and select an image or not. I always eventually am able to access the server and pick an image. It doesn't show, as described above, though.

Does anyone have any ideas and could help? Thank you for reading.

What is the broken path to the image when you explore it with the browser developer tool (F12)?

The path of the image can not be accessed, I get a ERROR 500 from your server when trying to open the image:

survey.mms.tu-berlin.de/lsurvey3/upload/...941/images/arab1.png

Can not really be related to LimeSurvey : seems to be related to server ?

What server type ?
