I have used LS for a while to do plain vanilla "straight through" Q1-10 surveys. I am setting one up at the moment which has Relevance switch so Q1_A1 = Yes , don't ask questions Q2-Q5, but start at Q6... and if Q1_A2 = Yes then Q6-Q9, before both sections end up at Q10... all that is fine except that I am getting a "You have not filled out mandatory questions" alert when jumping to Q6 because Q2 is mandatory... is there a magic expression to supress the mandatory alert or have I misunderstood the setup?
And what do you see, when you click "Close" in the error message?
Here my result: (The "DK" and "NA" checkboxes in open answers are there because I use the plugin "checkBoxForText")

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless
Have you tried with a standard template/theme for the survey? Seems like you are using a custom template/theme.
I got an error message, but because I did not rank all items under "What did you like about the website?"
Not sure why, because it says "please rank at most 4 items" and i ranked 2, so this should be no problem according to your instructions, but it is a problem.
Same for the other ranking question.
But after correcting this, I could go through without an error message.
Where does this error message appear to you? After submitting the second page?
How about importing your file that you have send us as a new survey and test that again. If this works, then something is wrong in that specific survey. If it still doesn't work right, then there seems to be something wrong with your installation (or theme,/template).

Ha, Joffm, learned something new today! You don't need to grab and drop the items for a ranking question, but can just click them in the right order...

I get the group questions, it is just that "you have skipped mandatory" modal error, everything else works from there on in. poorly defined questions in places but it all works.
Yes, I had obviously done something in one of the templates that was firing the modal appearance, re-cloned vanilla and went through the same process of editing and everything is working.
Sorry for wasting your time with my own introduced errors.
