About garbled line breaks (\ n) in emails

I have a question about an email sent by the system when saving a survey in the middle.
There is a line break (\ n) in the text of the email, but when the line break (\ n) is sent by email, the characters are garbled as "& # 10;".

I changed it from a line break (\ n) to a line break (\ r \ n) and tested it, but the result was the same.
By the way, questionnaire guidance emails and reminder emails are displayed correctly.

The version you are using is 2.65.6.
Please tell me how to solve it.

The version you are using is 2.65.6.

 
Personnaly : i just don't try to search specific issue on this version … too old.

Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.

Like Denis:

Limesurvey 2.65.6 was released on 15.06.17. community.limesurvey.org/release/170615/

This is basically 4 years without updates, bug or security fixes.

It is difficult to help with such an old version of Limesurvey which is deprecated for quite some time now.

Not sure if anyone will have such an old version to test anything.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
