Hello there,

I need some advice for designing my scale. I would like to present a scale which goes from -7 to +7, where the person can move with a slider. Right now I built this by using "multiple numerical input"-question type and put on the slider function. I set -7 and +7 as minimal and maximal value. Still I do have two problems:
- I would like to have the left and right side of the scale named with something like "reduction" and "increasement"  -> how is it possible to name the poles of the scale?
- Right now only the extreme points provide a numerical value (-7/+7) -> how is it possible to have a constant counting like: -7, -6, ... , 0, ...., +6, +7.

Please excuse my english, I am not a native speaker.
I'm looking forward for your ideas! :)

First of all, it is always good to mention the version of Limesurvey that you are using. There are several different branches of LS in use at the moment and features can be different for each of them.

So you should read a little bit here about the multiple numerical input type:
manual.limesurvey.org/Question_type_-_Multiple_numerical_input

For the labels at the left and the right you should have a look at this section:
manual.limesurvey.org/Question_type_-_Mu...8slider_separator.29

For the other part, I currently have no answer, I would need to set up such a question to have a look at it. But I can't do that at the moment.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
