Use case:
  • a token table is populated with new respondents now and then
  • there is an extra field (attribute) for birthdate
  • we would like to sort on birth date, so we can send out surveys in the month a person (child) reaches a certain age, so the parents can answers questions about their child
Current situation: future respondents are collected in Excel sheets, these are saved in CSV and then imported into the token table.
There is no possibility to assign a type to an attribute field, all extra attributes are of the type "text"

Questions:
  • is there a way to change the field type of an attribute (without causing errors)?
  • if not, what would you do to make the birthday field sortable?
The only way I could think of, is using a different notation for the birth date field: YYYYMMDD, so today (March 15, 2021) would be: 20210315
Do you know another solution?
