Question validation tip

I have a multiple choice question that I am using question validation to pop up an answer if they select more than 3 codes.
This works fine but it also shows above my custom validation tip a separate line showing 'Check all that apply'
Is there any way to get rid of this?

It seems to be a bug that the hide-tip setting does not work.

Try adding this to the question source:
