Two weird things was created by asilbering
Hi all,

I am using LS 3.19 (and cannot update to a newer version right now).

I have extended an extended theme based on Vanilla for operational reasons and yesterday I realized that there are two strange things (see picture):

1- there is a "#}" right below the logo
2- the "submit" button is on the right side rather than at the bottom of the page. This happens in some surveys only.

Also, for some strange reason, the brand logo had disappeared and the Theme options where set to "inherit all" although I am certain that I had changed that to add the brand logo. (I have now put it back since these are running surveys).

Here is an example with only strange thing #1
fbmweb-test.unil.ch/index.php?r=survey/i...sr2w2Sw9YU&newtest=Y

And here is one example with both strange things:
fbmweb-test.unil.ch/index.php?r=survey/i...cxmlrTL98z&newtest=Y

Attached is also the lss file for the second example.

I went through all the local files in the extended theme but could not find the source of the problems. Any help is more than welcome!!

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Ana

Hi,

1. this sign "#}" means "end of comment".
So revise the twig file if there is a "#}" without the starting "{#"

2. Your "group-outer-container" class has a "display:flex".
Change it to "display:block".

1) You have an incomplete tag in one of the local TWIG files. Can you attach an export of the theme?

2) I suspect you have an un-closed HTML tag in the text. Can you attach a sample survey?

Cheers,

I did search for that, but couldn't find any. I will check again. How do I export a theme? I only have access to the user interface, not to the installation or server.

Found it! Now it looks normal again.

Thanks again!

How do I export a theme?

Usually in the theme designer.

In my opinion : it must be in layout_global

Thanks Denis!
I went through the layout_global.twig file and could not find any "orphan" #}... Besides that file is inherited not local so if the problem was there is should affect also my other surveys that are based on extend_vanilla, right?
I went through all twig files and could not find the problem...
Since it is not a big deal I think I will have to live with the mystery.
Thanks all for the help anyways and happy holidays.

You'r right : if inherited : it must be OK.

header.twig ? or custom_header.twig ?
