Hi,

I am a student from Belgium and it's my first time using Limesurvey. I started making my survey on a free account in Limesurvey version 3.25.3. I was able to design an array question with text as well as with dropdown answers from all the help on this forum. Now I switched to an older version of Limesurvey (Limesurvey version 3.22.14+200423) for my school, and now I notice that certain questions are not exported correctly. Can someone help me get the same type of question in the older version?

Attached you find the question in the newest version (so the way I want it to be) and how the question looks in the older version. (sorry my question is written in Dutch)

A big thank you in advance!!! :)

Without seeing more we can't answer this.

This javascript workaround works for years.
So it seems to be an error on your side.

What about XSS filtering?
Are you a superadmin or an admin? Is the XSS filter set to OFF?

Hi,

I can't acces any of the settings because my new account is managed by the university.
So what I did on my free account was make array scale with both dropdown field and free text fields. This link helped me with it: forums.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-thi...l-text-value?start=0

But this doesn't work for my account managed by my university... You think the older version is not the cause of my problem, but rather the settings of my account?

Thank you for your help anyway :)

Then you may not have the rights to include javascript.

Your 2nd screenshot shows this.

Bad luck.

Like Joffm. The second screenshot shows the Javascript code as text, this usually means that the XSS filter is on and filters Javascript into text.

The different versions (3.25.3 vs 3.22.14+200423) should have no impact on this, it is rather a difference in configuration.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
