I've imported in our LimeSurvey 3.23 a survey made in a old LimeSurvey 2.66 and I also need to import the related resources.
While the first part works fine, the second part yelds the error in the picture, which roughly tanslates as:

Import survey resources
Error
Resources import summary

Total imported files: 0
Total errors: 2

Error files list:

File: index.html (Forbidden extension)
File: fu_8tqnz3hc5bz88aj (Forbidden extension)

What shall I ask our sysadmins to be changed, in order to have suche extensions not forbidden?

It come from LimeSurvey …

index.html : not needed, it's OK
fu_8tqnz3hc5bz88aj : user uploaded file … you need to transfert response too (via VV or lsa) ? If not : don't care,
If yes : maybe need to be reported, I think no extension can not be uploaded.

How am I supposed to migrate a survey which has internal resources (e.g.: pictures in questions) AND uploaded resources (files uploaded by participants)?

Edit: I would try in the demo environment but it looks like uploading resources is disabled.

As Denis recommended. Report that as a bug. The "forbidden extension" message sounds like a typical case, where LimeSurvey is "too smart" for reality.
There should be a way to overule suche "protections".

Yes : it's that : fu_XXXXX is uploaded file by participant.

What version did you use ?

The issue is same with or without real uploaded file, file are always saved as fu_XXXXX if we don't allow this file : we can not move a survey from one server to another server

exports come from LS 2.66 LTS
they are imported into LS 3.23.5

Wait for updating to 3.24.2 for report the issue ? But i'm sure it still there.

I don't think we'll be able to update soon, so I'm posting it right now.

PS: demo can be tested too for the errors . No need a real lsa survey

I didn't find a way to upload the resources to the survey, though
