Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the Theme options entry under the Survey settings menu.
For any survey, independently from the theme chosen (at the moment, I am using only core themes), when I click on Theme options the relative view doesn't load.
If I try to open Theme options in another tab of the browser, the following error (also attached) is displayed:

500: Internal server error
Argument 1 passed to themeoptions::turnAjaxmodeOffAsDefault() must be an instance of TemplateConfiguration, null given, called in /homepages/40/d702414617/htdocs/clickandbuilds/LimeSurvey/application/controllers/admin/themeoptions.php on line 294

I already tried to check in the themeoptions.php file on line 294 to see whether I could figure out the problem, but I am afraid my PHP skills are too limited for such a task.

Has anyone any idea about what might be causing this issue? Potential solutions?
I can add that there has been no version update since I first installed LimeSurvey and that the error seems to have been there since the installation.


I am using a self-hosted LimeSurvey, version 4.1.13.

4.1.13. is a rather early release.
I checked in 4.3.1. and saw no issue.

So you should update to the actual version (4.3.18 at the moment) and try again.
