HTML tags visible in detailed admin notification was created by imnetxiin
Hello!

In detailed admin notification emails, HTML tags are visible. Is it supposed to be like that?

What version of Limesurvey are you using?

LS 4.x is not really ready for production yet. Just too many bugs still.

Please file a bug report.

No.

This isn't very obvious though, is it? Because it's not a participant email, it's an admin one.

I switched "Use HTML format for participant emails:" to "Yes" and the HTML tags disappeared (for new responses). Unfortunately, the formatting (e. g., bold type), didn't appear.

There are certainly a lot of things that can be improved in Limesurvey.

I agree that it is not very obvious and to be honest I am also not 100% sure if there is actually a connection. But I trust in Denis here, because he is one of the most knowledgable guys when it comes to Limesurvey code.

the HTML tags disappeared (for new responses)

What does this mean? Did they disappear from the shown text or did they also disappear from the source code of the received email? Given that you say there is no formatting, etc. this probably means they disappeared completely. Are they still in the email template for the admin notification?

Yes :)

We have only one settings to manage this, you're right on 2 points :

1. We need to tell to the user this settings apply to admin email too.
2. It can be a good feature to have a settings for each email (for example : invitaion in HTML but confirm in TEXT).

If you (@imnetxiin) can find time to repot both issue : 1 as bug and 2 as feature request, it can be great.
