I updated Limesurvey yesterday with the version 4.3.7+200730 and i have few issues.

When i want to add a "short text" question, i have a "map question" ???
And it's the same for browser :



And all the text are not translated on the bottom


I have looked for translation completion (and complete it if necessary) but all is complete translate.limesurvey.org/projects/limesurvey-4/

I doesn't found how to save my question too


Anyone know how to solve these problems ?

For production I would recommend to stay with LS 3.x until the majority of bugs in LS 4.x are fixed.

Problem: You can not easily go back to LS 3.x from LS 4.x.

This doesn't make sense. Which version of LS 3.x?? If this would be true for LS 3.x in general, then we would have a lot of problems here in the forum...

OK, so you are actually (half) right.

When previewing the short text question type, the screenshot shows the "short text" question type, as well as the subtype "map question".

If you click on "select" there is actually a short text question being created. You can then configure this "short text" question into a location question as in the second part of the screenshot ( www.limesurvey.org/manual/QS:Location_mapservice ).



So while I agree that this layout is not ideal, you can still create a normal short text question.

Same for the browser detect, which is also a subtype of the "short text" question.

I personally would treat them as separate question types all along, but currently they are sub types of the short text question.
