Registration: generic URL and token was created by eglerapaliute
Dear all,

I couldnt find the answer in manual and seems like no answer in forum.

I have two surveys, which will be completed by the same respondents (surveys are closed, with token participants). The thing I want to do is: send one invitation email with information of both surveys.

1. I have generated participants and tokens in both surveys.
2. In first survey's email template I added {SURVEYURL} and {TOKEN} and in the same email I put generic url of another survey and the same participan's generated token (from survey no 2).

That did not work out, cause generic email from 2nd survey gave me 500: Internal Server Error Call to undefined method stdClass::save().Afterwards I have tried to send email invitation from 2nd survey and access survey from generated url, but same error occured.

I have two questions:
1. Is it possible to send generic url of a survey, in which have generated participants and tokens, that respondent could access survey from it and "log in" with token code? (without sending email invitation with limesurvey but using e.g., text msg, personal email and etc.)
2. How can I solve the error?

Thank you so much in advance if anyone will answer my questions:)

Hi,

cause generic email from 2nd survey gave me 500: Internal Server Error

You didn't show how you entered the second link.

Well, you know the link to the second survey.
Therefore I entered this into the invitation email (source code mode):
Code:
<p>And here your second link</p>
<a href="https://www.myServer.de/survey/index.php/188812?token={TOKEN:TOKEN}">https://www.myServer.de/survey/index.php/188812?token={TOKEN:TOKEN}</a>

and got this invitation

You realize that the language parameter is missing.
I was not able to add a second parameter, probably because of the "&"-sign.
But if it is a multilingual survey you surely have the language code in the participant table.

Hi!
I enetered second survey using the generic link (see the screenshot) and got the error.

I am not sure what happened but no error this morning, I enter the second survey in the same way and as planned got open box to write in the token ID (sc2) and I am able to proceed with it.

Thanks!
Seems alright now.

So, you didn't want to add the token to the link? (Typing a cryptic token may be cumbersome)
And you entered it the same way I did?

Therefore always show us what you did. We do not see your screen.

But nevertheless, your error was strange, though a 500 error may have too many different reasons.

In the invitation email of first survey I additionaly added the generic link of the second survey with token id (screenshot- email template of first survey). This is how email invitation looked like.
It deff sounds like a mess, but there are not lot of respondents and I want them to send one email invitation with both links to the surveys.

So I just simply expect that respondents will use first individual url without a need to insert token id and the second survey they will enter using the generec link and their individual token (which is issued for the second survey)?
