we are using a custom theme with Limesurveys Version 4.2.1+200428, and we need to have a scrolling carousel on the survey, as demonstrated here:

it would appear that the code added to the custom.js file, although it is there is not being executed. the styles needed use appendTo head and this is simply not there. XSS filtering is set to OFF.
this is a fairly simple thing to do, I also tried directly adding the code to the template files, this had no effect either. you can see the survey here:
