Answer Options in Matrix Questions - Scrollable? was created by Anne370
Dear Community,
I couldn't find any answer to this question and hope I either missed it (would be very sorry about that) or you might be able to help me.
My Problem: I am using matrix questions in my questionaire. In some questions, I have more subquestions than most displays could possibly display at once. While answering all the subquestions as a participant, I have to scroll down. Because the answer options are written in the head of the table, they are soon not visible anymore.
My Question: Is there a possibility to have the answer options (first row of the table) following down while scrolling in matrix questions?
I saw that once with a different survey tool, but couldn't find it within LimeSurvey. The nearly-solution I found was 'repeat answer options', but that doesn't look quite professional.
Thank you so much for your help!
Best, Anne

Hi, Anne,
here you may find a solution
extensions.sondages.pro/themes-and-templ...le-with-fixed-header
In theme "skelvanilla"
As you see, the answer options are fixed at the top

And another option is to repeat the scale, every X subquestions. There is a setting for this in the advanced settings of the question type.
Not as elegant as the fixed scale and only subquestion scrolling, but should work with all browsers.

But Anne's opinion was:
My opinion is:
It is not very professional to display such a long array.
A too strong temptation to "happy clicking", meaning "a click here, there and everywhere without reading the subquestion".

Maybe in poll/survey, but LimeSurvey is used too for data management, then sometimes it can be understandableJoffm wrote: My opinion is:
