Without changes something that worked before in Limesurvey will not suddenly disappear. So somewhere in your whole setup must have changed, this could be within Limesurvey (doubtful), within your server environment (more probable if you are not administering your own server from the ground up), etc.
There have been problems with textfields when the WYSIWYG Editor was on, but as far as I remember not in your version.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
