Changing the format of a drop-down list question type was created by tvrooijen
Hi Limesurvey community,
I was wondering how I can change the layout of the drop-down list question type. By default the answer box is below the question text, but I would like to place it next to the question.
Here is a link to my survey: www.wijzer.bracewijzer.nl/index.php/343828?newtest=Y&lang=nl
Any ideas and suggestions are welcome!
Thanks in advance!

Note that placing them side-by-side will not work on smaller screens like phones.

@tpartner: Do we have a multiple short text question where a drop-down might be attached?
I saw one with a datepicker, but don't remember.
@tvrooijen: But nevertheless, you might place them one below the other as in your example.

I found this thread in which both a date picker and a drop-down are inserted (although the date insertion is not my code and I would do it differently) - www.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-this-w...le-short-text#185738Joffm wrote: @tpartner: Do we have a multiple short text question where a drop-down might be attached?

That was the one I remembered.
Using the script in the linked post you may display it like this.
And as you use a highly customized theme the display should be as you like to have.

I have done a adapted theme for Skelvanilla using CSS class to set 'col-sm-6' to answer and help.
I want to add it to core Skelvanilla.
