Can someone suggest how I change either the standard text color or link color.

In SkelVanilla the standard text color appears light blue to me and links are also light blue so there is no differentiation.

In the Survey Themes there are two tabs - Advanced Options and Simple Options.

Or are you referring to the "Select Variations" under the pull down menu in the Simple Options tab?

In my opinion Tony refers to the variations in "Simple Options".
There nothing about this in "Advanced options"


On the other hand you may adapt the standard text color in "custom.css" like

Examine by a webdevelopment tool which class is involved.
Because I have no idea that's what I had to do.

Well, usually this is a <a> tag.
So just set your desired color of this in "custom.css" (here color:green; font-size:20pt;)
