We have large survey (that's taken a week to set up). We've completed two circles of activating that survey, collecting responses and then stopping the same survey. No issues there with starting the survey. Now, the third time we try to activate the same survey anew, the following message pops up:
Activate survey (245112)
Survey table could not be created.
Database error!

We're panicking a bit over here. What does this mean? We can in no way change anything in the survey, since this would mean we can't keep the responses we've already collected from several hundred participants (after having paid them quite a lot).

The error message means, that the survey could no be activated cause the database wasn't able to create a surveytable.
I would copy the survey and try to activate the copy. If the error message is still there, you should contact the administrator of the server. In case you host with LimeSurvey.org, you can contact the support.
