If your survey is already live, I wouldn't change anything and would continue running it the way it is, at least the structure. Because changing the structure would involve to deactivate the survey and I don't think the changes are worth it.
Maybe you can create some spacing via CSS.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
