Is there a possibility to make use of relevance equations in single response questions?
It seems odd that one can not present different selections of answers to different groups within one (single-response) question.
Did I just overlook that option? If not, do you know the reason why it's handled that way? With multiple response questions it is no problem.

With multiple response questions it is no problem.

Multiple questions have an absolutely different structure in the database, what jelo explainrd below.

And we all are a bit sad that this feature is still missing.

But you can do that with built-in features.

Here an example.
If you select
group 1, Q2 displays options 1, 3, 6, 8
group 2, Q2 displays options 1, 2, 4, 7, 8
group 3, Q2 displays options 2, 5, 6, 7, 8

No, the answer items cannot be controlled via relevance.

Nobody took the time to rewrite the codebase to be able to do it.
You will find many more features, which are not implemented for all questions or sections.

Technically every answer-item of a multiple-choice question is a question itself.
Singlechoice answer-items are no questions. Relevance is only available to questions.

Thank you both for your answers. I'll look into the .lss you provided, Joffm. And @jelo: That makes sense since you can chose "checked/unchecked" for every answer option in the "Set conditions"-menu. Too bad it hasn't been implemented. Luckily sometimes there is a workaround.
