When I activate the welcome-page, the survey doesn't go beyond this first page. Clicking the "next" button doesn't do anything. Only when I deactivate the welcome-page, the survey starts and works fine, but without an explanatory first page.
Any ideas, what's wrong?

Are you using the self-hosted version? If yes, which version? Are you using a customized theme? Could you please attach the .lss file of your survey?

If you are using the hosting services of LimeSurvey GmbH, please open a support ticket from your limesurvey.org profile.

I use the free version on the hosted site, but the support page asks to use the forum first. Now I opened a support ticket.

Form tag breaks the welcome page. It cannot be added there.

Please check your HTML code (you can also post it here and ask other users for their opinion).

I found the error: I copied the introduction from another survery-tool, that I was testing. This didn't copy the text alone but also the html behind it. That was to much for LimeSurvey. I deleted all the html and violá!

Glad to hear that it is solved .

For other users: please pay attention when you copy text from internet pages (for example) because the HTML will also be copied into the LimeSurvey text boxes (use source mode to check if everything is fine).
