I'm currently trying to reverse the assessment value of some subquestions, in order to negatively score certain subquestions within an array.
For example;
On regularly weighted questions "Strongly Agree" should score you 5
On negatively weighted questions "Strongly Agree" should score you a 1
I realise this can probably be done using the expression manager, but despite my best attempts I'm coming up short. Please find attached an example survey.
Sure, I can define the answer values at a question level, but not a sub question level right? I think I'm looking to invert the assessment values for certain subquestions.
For example, say I'd like SQ01 and SQ03 to be valued with 5 for "Strongly Agree" and 1 for "Strongly Disagree", but SQ02 and SQ04 to be a 1 for "Strongly Agree" and 5 for "Strongly Disagree.
Not sure if I can follow but I might have understood your request.
If you use an array question and want different assessment values for subquestion, this won't work.
Then you should calculate your own "assessment value" via Expression Manager.
You can create equation type questions to store your own assessment values. EM is very flexible in this term. You can do basically the calculations like you want to.
