I've just figured out a way to somehow randomize my research (yeah, I am absolutely dumb in this kind of computer work). But I am not sure if it is going to work well.

On fourth question I've written into "question" box this: {rand(1,4)}.

Then, in next Group relevance window I've written this: Q4 == 1 (range from 1 to 4).

I guess this is much better way to describe it:

I thought, It would generate a number at Question 4 and always show the same group (like: 1=A, 2=B, 3=C, 4=D).

But it doesn't!

It somehow works pretty fine, I tried to preview survey 100 time with this result:

But I want to be sure if this is how it is supposed to work. I don't want it to break when hundreds of people will respond to my survey.

Any thoughts on this?

Looks like glitch in your survey. Perhaps you didn't use a equation question type.

Choose equation type and enter {if(is_empty(random),rand(1,4),random)} into the questiontext.
random is the questioncode of this question. So replace random in the term with the questioncode of your question 4.


Or export the relevant surveypart as LSS and attach it here. Then we can check your survey.
