I'm on a instance inside subdiretory, then my HTML editor is broken (don't see file)

I'm using the hosted LimeSurvey Pro version (at least 3.15) on LS servers, AND also the locally installed xampp version as well (at least 3.15).

Ok, thx, will have to be careful with that from now on.
I'm using the hosted LimeSurvey Pro version (at least 3.15) on LS servers, AND also the locally installed xampp version as well (at least 3.15).

Just for the record:
I tried
1) <img alt="" src="/upload/themes/survey/skelvanilla/files/poweredby.png" style="width:100px;height:auto"><br>
2) <img alt="" src="/themes/survey/skelvanilla/files/poweredby.png" style="width:100px;height:auto">
(Copy & Pasted your line, Denis, and even created a theme with that exact name.)

In the case (1) the image is shown in the template editor, so the path must be right. However, in both cases no CID was created when sent as email. -> It is not displayed in the email.
I'm using the hosted LimeSurvey Pro version (at least 3.15) on LS servers, AND also the locally installed xampp version as well (at least 3.15).

EDITED:

Relative paths will only work on system resources and core themes.
Relative paths to survey files and user themes will not work.

We are working on a solution, but we're not there yet.
The issue is under investigation.

There is a working example in this thread with a relative path. -> It is ebedded as CID. Try it, please and check the resulting email code. Here is the beginning of my resulting email code, when I click in Outlook on "show source":

The image is displayed nicely. However, with an absolute path, it does NOT work to be emebedded as CID.

It work if you set relative path to your system the image is not LINKED, it's EMBEDDED .

Don't put false information please …
