I hope this is the right section to post this, otherwise please forward me to the correct one.
Using LS version 2.71.0+170925
As the admin user:
- log in
- go to settings - > users -> "survey administration management"
- add new user
- edit user global permissions
- save and close
LS says that changes were successfully saved, but when I close and re-open the permission page for that user, the changes were not applied.
I looked for a similar issue in the bug tracker but couldn't find any. Was it solved in a later version of LS as a side effect of some other fix?
It makes no sense to look at the bug tracker if you are not on the latest release for this branch. Update your installation to the latest version of the 2.7x branch which is probably something like 2.73 or so and check if the problem still persists. Then you could create a bug report. However, I think 2.7x is not supported anymore and the problem, if it still persists after the update, might never be fixed. However, I am not sure if the developers really won't fix any problem in 2.7x anymore. But focus is clearly on the new version 3.x.

Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
