Limited number of records in a Label set was created by SylvainLambert
It looks like the Label set can't hold more than a certain number of records (about 300). After I clicked on the Save changes with too much record, all what I entered disapear. Is there a reason for this limitation? I have some list with thousands of records that I need to be used from a drop down list in my survey.

I tried it both on the online and on premise (Version 2.67.2+170719 )

I am not aware of a limit in Limesurvey regarding the number of entries. However, there might be some limitations on the server (PHP or MySQL).

How do you enter the items? Via quick entry?

I just added successfully 400 items to a new lable set. So the problem must be in your server configuration, it is not a Limesurvey limitation, I guess.

There are a few things in PHP for example that can cause problems when having big files, large amounts of things to add, etc. (max vars, max execution time, memory, etc.)

I wanted to try how far I can stretch this, so I went to add another 600 items for a total of 1000 items.

Besides Chrome beeing a little slow, everything went fine and I could save a total of 1000 answer options in the labelset.

300*3=900, near 1000 and 1000 is near default max_input_vars : www.limesurvey.org/manual/Troubleshootin...d_not_be_verified.27

Your server don't accept it :)

Entering more than 300 rows in one shot, I got a php error about max_input_vars so you are right, the limitation is on the server and we can fix it.

Thanks all for your input
