Hello have LimeSurvey Version 2.00+ Build 131009 (yes I know it is out of date but my IT doesn't have time to update it. We have edited a survey and we want to change the phrase "Exit and clear survey" to "Exit and clear responses". We have gone through all of the template files associated with the survey and can not find the html code to change. We think it is a file that is in the background but without a name we are just flying blind.

Can anyone tell us the location of the file that has this code?

You can change that string in the language files. See "Translating LimeSurvey - www.limesurvey.org/manual/Translating_LimeSurvey
