Array filter with "other" option in multiple choice question

The problem is in the multiple choice question. There is this sample survey for cascading array filters where the problem appears (and also in my survey):
manual.limesurvey.org/Expression_Manager...cading_Array_Filters
(survey available for download there)

If in Q01 only other electronic (the “other” option) is selected, then question Q02 does not appear. It means that the next question does not appear if only “other” option is filled out. If other option and a second option is selected Q02 does appear. See pictures.
How could I change that, that also Q02 appear if only “other” is selected?

Hi, KompetenzZ,

I created a small sample, and found no issue, neither displaying "question by question" nor "group by group".

First question MF1: normal multiple with "Other"-option and "exclusive"-option
Second question MF2:
Relevance very simple: MF1_SQ005!="Y" (the exclusive)
Matrix filter: MF1
Last subquestion: {MF1_other}
Both questions: mandatory.

And it works. See screenshots.

At the moment I work with Version 2.62.2+170203

Best regards
Joffm

Hi, Jelo,
whom did you ask?

Well, to be honest I missed this:
As shown in the mentioned example the answer code is "other".

But to add: The second question must not be mandatory in case no brand is made in own country.

Regards
Joffm

Hi, Jelo,
whom did you ask?

Not you ;-) When piping other many users seem to not change the answercode to other.
Let's see what KompetenzZ has written as answercode for the otheritem in the second question.

Hello,

I also wrote "other" as answer code for the second question. For answer code, relevance equation and array filter see screenshots. I did it exactly the same as in the sample survey for cascading array filters (see initial post).

Here is an testlink to my survey if that helps (second page, "which beddings are you mainly using" is the first question for array filter):

The screenshot is the relevance equation from the second question, right?
Please check without the relevance equation. I currently cannot remember it but the other field status in the relevance equation could be the issue. I think your relevance equation isn't getting the status of the other field. I remember a few issues around other in EM in relation with the other field.

Yes, the screenshot is the relevance equation from the second question. Now I got it, I do not need the relevance equation in any case. Thank you very much :)
