Each question has a section called "Advanced Options".
For some questiontypes you'll find a field called "Answer width".

Depending on your version/build of LimeSurvey and the template the optical impact of setting the answer width will differ.

I am using 2.05 version. I don't find such field under advanced setting.

Is there any other way round?

Well, please send a screenshot from your settings. Isn't something like this "subquestion width" there?

This should be there for quite a while, probably already since 1.9x.

But 2.05 is still quite old. You should consider updating at least to the 2.6 branch.
