Hi
Am having trouble finding the general settings "Show 'no answer' toggle , for me to remove no answer showing up in my list question type and even array question type.
Additionally i am having trouble with an array question i made where i want to find out at which times factilities are used but sadly when i could only pick one time period instead of having the ability to pick multiple ones in the array this makes it hard to know if people use factilities at different times throughout the day instead of just one time period. I have an image below to show what kind of problem am facing .
Hi, MysticScroll,
1. Tammo's post.
2. a. Use instead "Array (numbers)" and set in "Advanced settings" : Checkbox layout "On"
2.b. If it's only the item "Costcutters" you can use a multiple choice.
Set the numbers of columns to the number of answers in advanced settings.
Regards
Joffm

unfortunately i dont have access to the admin/globalsettings , it said access denied , so i tried to use the script but it didnt take away the no answers when i previewed it . heres some images , i think that is how u add script , i tried echo alert script first to see if js is working and it worked , but when i tried the same thing with the script you suggested , the no answer bit in the array was still there, here are a image just in case it may add any help .
So you are not the administrator of the Limesurvey installation, I assume.
If you are lucky, the admin of your installation picked "selectable" for this in the global admin. Then you should be able to adjust this in your survey settings.
"Survey settings" --> "Edit survey text elements and settings" --> "Presentation & navigation" --> "Show "No answer"
If not, then the only chance is to ask the admin of your installation to make the respective settings for you.

No am a student at an institution that encourages us to use limesurvey, which is why my name has scroll in it, am here to learn and become a senior lemon if possible
Or persuade the university's administrator to make the setting on a global level to: "Selectable". Try to convince him/her that that is the most flexible.

Does anyone actually like it? I mean it is so easy to add the "no answer" option where we feel necessary. I don't know why this needs to be defined "globaly" anyway. Not that it is a big deal, it is one of the first things that I configure when I set up a new LS install, but then there are those poor souls like MysticScroll that depend on a university administrator. The guys that often still run a 1.8x version of Limesurvey...

I feel with you, Holch. I personally have no issue with it, since I am the administrator for my installations, but I never saw the need of this option.
I wonder how many people see the benefit of it.
