Problem with mandatory array sub-questions

More

Hi!
I've a problem with the mandatory sub-questions in array.
I'm using LimeSurvey 2.2.50+ Build 160517, with the default template.
I've noticed that when a mandatory sub-question is not answered, the sub-question width changes, shifting all the sub-question box to the right.
Is this a bug? :(
Thank you very much in advance!

Doesn't sound like you did a mistake. So probably a bug.

There is no such version, as far as I know:
LimeSurvey 2.2.50+ Build 160517

I assume it is 2.50+.

As the built is pretty old it doesn't make sense to submit a bug report, because there is a good chance the problem was already fixed in the latest version. So please upgrade to the latest version and see if it still persists, then make a bug report.

Help us to help you!
  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).

I just try, seem to work. BUT : maybe you have to
- Clean up browser cache
- force asset directory to be redone.

How do you update template.css ?

I've just tried with a copy of the default template, adding your line. Unfortunately it doesn't work.
I don't understand your sentence: "force asset directory to be redone".
What do you mean?
I've cleaned up browser cache.
Thanks.

When your Limesurvey installation is set on "production mode" (my wording) in the /application/config/config.php there is a statement debug=0, which activates a kind of caching system: it produces several files in /tmp/runtime/cache which can be deleted at will.

When you put the installation in "development mode" (my wording again) you specify debug=1 in /application/config/config.php and the system will not produce files in /tmp/runtime/cache anymore, but I guess (maybe some guru can tell something about that) the system will work a little slower. The big advantage of this setting (debug=1) is that changes in.css files of your template will show up immediately.

Shouldn't these cachefiles be deleted when editing templates or other stuff? Cache systems in Joomla or Wordpress will have a button in the backend to rebuild cache at any time. That seems not to be the case in LS 2.5.X.

Yeah jelo, I agree that there should be a "Clear cache" button in the template manager. Can you please file a bug report or bring it up in the dev meeting (I won't be able to attend for 2 weeks)?

Thanks.

Cheers,
