My name is Rubin and I use limesurvey to make and spread the surveys for my bachelor thesis. To use limesurvey on my Mac, I have installed 'Mamp' (otherwise I was not able to install and use limesurvey on my local computer). Limesurvey worked good, until I wanted to spread my surveys. I activated my survey and sent the link ('https://localhost:8888/index.php/434762?lang=nl') that is displayed in the 'survey summary' to someone to test and double-check it.
However, she was not able to open the survey, and she got the notification that 'localhost' cant be reached. When I tried it myself after I closed mamp, I was not able to open the survey too. I already searched on the limesurvey forum, but I have not found a solution yet. Do you know how to create/find a link that will work for spreading my surveys? Or maybe there are settings in limesurvey (or mamp) itself that I have not tried yet?
I have added a screenshot of my survey and also of the webstart page I get via mamp (I can not see available surveys over there too; however I can access the page to design and change surveys). What am I doing wrong? Did I forget something in Mamp? I hope you have a solution.

For the moment your installation and questionnaires exist only on your computer not in internet...
You need a similar installation on the internet; Could be:
- A hosting company
- A webservice like limeservice
Your work already done is not lost; Hopefully you can export & import surveys.
