Semantic differential issue was created by Aliannore
Hello, I've got a bit of a problem with regard to the semantic differential question: I've developed a survey using this type of question and it otherwise works fine, but somehow the survey requires the (potential) examinees to answer both sides of the array in order to proceed further with the survey. As normally there should be only one answer (i.e. only one side of the array should be chosen), this will greatly skewer the results is left untreated. I've marked this question as obligatory since it comprises the main part of the survey, could that have something to do with it? How do I resolve this?

Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

It sounds like you have used an Array Dual Scale type which is not designed for semantic differential. Can you provide a screenshot?

Cheers,

Yes, that was the problem. Fixed it and now everything works fine. Thank you for your response.
