How can i edit the text that display in the alert popup (for example when someone tries to proceed passed a mandatory question).

i feel the default language text is too harsh and i want to soften the tone.

This is probably part of the language files. You would have to translate it. See translate Limesurvey in the manual.

  • Provide your LS version and where it is installed (own server, uni/employer, SaaS hosting, etc.).
  • Always provide a LSS file (not LSQ or LSG).
