No!

You can use a list radio question, activate the "other" free text option and change the text for the "other" option at the advanced question settings.

It then only takes some lines of JavaScript to not place the other option at the end of the list but at any position you want. That code can be found at www.limesurvey-consulting.com/how-to-re-...a-limesurvey-survey/
