Columns Across, not Down was created by penguintrax
I have a radio button question, but would like the answers displayed in columns with the data in order going across, not down. Is there a way to do this other than rearranging the order of the questions?

Thank you.

You will find a " display colums " attribute in the advanced settings

I was under the impression that the Display Columns setting only controlled how many columns, not the order in which the answers were displayed.

My answers are numbered, for example, 1-9.

I would like the first row to be answers 1, 2, 3.

As it stands right now in a 3-column layout, the first row are answers 1, 4, 7

I can only make the page show the 'across' order, if I rearrange the answers in the table grid.

If I add more answers, I have to rearrange things all over again.

Does that make sense?

Best is to set 'column_style' => 'ul' in your config : www.limesurvey.org/manual/Optional_setti...te_LimeSurvey_config

There is no difference between list-items and paragraphs...
For me it's quiet logical; Reading a (online or paper) journal you have to read whole column #1 first, before reading column #2. Same behaviour with CSS3 column-count property

And how should this be sorted when the survey is on a mobile phone? Or is that a non-issue in your project?
