Hello guys,

I got a new design problem.

There is a Dropdown question with a Dropdown answer and it should be limited up to 5. Because in a regular week (Monday - Friday) you can just go to lunch for 5 times. If you select more than 5 times in a sum there should be a notification that you only can go to lunch for 5 times.

Here is the example:

Where and how often do you go to lunch per week?
#1 Restaurants [Dropdown (1-5 times)]
#2 Bistro [Dropdown (1-5 times)]
#3 Cafe [Dropdown (1-5 times)]

The sum over all items must be limited to 5. I have really no clou how to implement that. :(

I appreciate your efforts and many thanks for your help in advance!

You might be able to do this with expression manager.

But the multiple number question type allows you to limit the number of times and show the current sum, how much is left, etc. Might be the better response type for you.

By the way: What happened to Saturday and Sunday? ;-)

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
