Hello,

I'm trying (LS 2.05) to format the email template but saving it resets to the default template without the <html> tag at the beginning

Please advise

When editing email templates in "Source" mode or without the HTML editor, you don't need to add <html> tags. Try using the "No HTML editor" or "Popup HTML editor" modes for the editor.
