I have a URL variable that I would like to save.

I have used URL parameter under panel integration, to define my passthrough variable. Also, I have chosen a target question to save the parameter. The target question is a text type question. I am able to capture the passthrough variable once someone takes the survey, and I am able to view it in my result page. However, the saved variable is lost, as soon as another participant takes the survey.

My target question is not on the first page.

What do you think the issue is?

I am using 2.05 version.

I'm not sure I understand. What do you mean by "...the saved variable is lost, as soon as another participant takes the survey." Lost where? In the data?

I can see the values on the result screen as someone starts the survey. But when I come to it later, or when I export the results, the field is blank!

Can you attach a SMALL sample survey?

Build number, there are problem in some 2.05 version : try to update to the ast 2.05 version (or better to2.06).
