When trying to use ComfortUpdate, I get the following message:
However, on another installation, I found that the ComfortUpdate server is responding fine.

When I try to resubmit my valid update key, I get the following message (see also attached screenshot):

When you get issues around the ComfortUpdate server, the best thing is to wait a few hours.
Sometimes the server is overloaded. Sometimes the LimeSurvey updates repository is updated.
If you still get issues over a 48h period of time, contact support directly.
Only a few persons inside LimeSurvey GmbH are working on the ComfortUpdate server.


 

Thanks for the prompt reply. I encountered this problem two days ago. It is strange though that on my other installation on another server (Linux OS), the issues does not appear. The ComfortUpdate on that installation works just fine.

Unfortunately, we have not find a solution (yet). We are still working on this, as we need to test the PHP settings. If that does not work, we'll probably need to reinstall LimeSurvey.

Can you try the blow.../application/config/updater_version.php the option $config = 1; to 0.  I hope this helps. 

Thanks for the tip. There is no just $config = though, since all lines start with this. I guess you mean the line  $config('comfort_update_server_ssl'). I already received this advice and used it. According to the instructions, if this works, then there is a problem with my PHP curl settings. We are working on this, because we'd rather use ssl to communicate with the ComfortUpdate server.

Unfortunately not. Most probably we'll try to reinstall LimeSurvey, but we need to find the time to do this, while several surveys are currently running. Otherwise, we'll need to cancel the subscription, since it becomes unusable.

In any case, I will post any new developments when available.

About Comfort update : i think best is to contact LimeSurey Gmbh team support.
