I'm trying to use ComfortUpdate to update from 5.3.32+220817 to 5.4.0 (220913) and get this error: "destination_build_not_newer".

The error message makes no sense. Never saw this message before here. I would wait 24h and try again. It's not the first time, the update server hat a lag before correctly offering the newest release. Still some manual work is done in the backend, when a new release is available.
