I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong area.

I am learning how to use Array Filtering, and have employed it successfully with a few different question types. The online manual pages state that I should be able to do this with Ranking questions. However, the Array Filtering fields are absent from the Advanced question options when I create a Ranking question. Does anyone know what could cause this problem?

My institution is using LimeSurvey 1.92.

I would say that the problem is the version 1.92.

The array filter was orginally only available for array questions. Then it had been ported to other question types. I don't know when this happened, but I would guess that 1.92 didn't have it. If I have the time, I check in my 2.05 installation.

Under the lastest version of 2.05 (up to date) the array filter works perfectly with a multipe choice question and a ranking question.

Options only appear in the ranking question if they have been ticked in the multiple choice question.
