I'm wondering, is it possible to disable confirmation emails for a certain question group? We have 3 groups, but only in the first group the confirmation mail should be sent. I can't find an option anywhere to disable the mail for certain groups...

Confirmation emails are for the whole survey and are only sent once the survey is registered as completed. So I don't think it is possible what you are trying to do.

We seem to have set it up for the second part some time ago though, but I can't find where I did that and how I should do this now.
So if anyone might have a solution I would really appreciate it.

What exactly are you trying to do? Send a confirmation email after the first group? Or send a confirmation email at the end, that contains only the first group?

We have a survey of 3 parts.
Part 1 is sent on a specific date
Part 2 is sent 4 weeks after part 1 has been filled in
Part 3 is sent 12 weeks after that.

We want a confirmation email only after part 1, where the client gets the message that they can expect invitations for the other parts in 4 and 16 (4+12) weeks. This mail should only be sent after part 1, not after part 2 and 3.

I hope I made it more clear this way.

OK, now things become clearer. While you call it a survey in 3 parts, I would personally call it 3 surveys.

You actually have 3 different questionnaires in Limesurvey, correct?
